Afro-Latin and Caribbean Dance

Dance at the library because "LIBRARIES ROCK!" Enjoy Susana Weingarten Evert's Latin Dance styles class. A Latina world-class and award-winning teacher, choreographer, and former co-director of DANCEVERT, Susana will provide a basic understanding of the main Latin rhythms such as salsa, merengue, samba and more, using authentic Latin music.

No registration required, but space is limited. Arrive on time to claim a spot. (Ideal for children 3 and older)

 

Financial Workshop for Small Business: Part 1

Genealogy Series: Digitizing Your Family Photos

Lily Birkhimer of Ohio History Connection will cover topics such as choosing what items to scan, what type of equipment to use and how to preserve and manage digital files.

 

Celebrate Juneteenth

Juneteenth Independence Day is an American holiday that commemorates the emancipation of all and any remaining slaves in the Confederacy on June 19, 1865. We will celebrate this historic holiday with the Cleveland Association of Black Storytellers. Please join us for an evening of celebration and learning of our heritage!
