HELP Foundation Acquires Cornucopia, Inc.

Euclid based HELP Foundation is pleased to announce it has acquired Cornucopia Inc. of Lakewood.  Cornucopia has helped people with disabilities develop skills, find confidence and provide work adjustment training since 1975.

Both HELP and Cornucopia focus on empowering individuals with disabilities. “We are thrilled about the opportunity to provide even more people in Northeast Ohio with the skills and confidence they need to achieve long-term employment” said HELP Foundation’s CEO, Tami Honkala.  “We look forward to joining with Cornucopia to enhance and expand services in our area”.

Cornucopia's management and governance will transition under Help Foundation's organizational structure which will allow Cornucopia to continue its vocational training, job placement programs and its catering operations without interruption. We are delighted that Cornucopia’s program staff will maintain their positions and caseloads so we can best serve client needs.  All food service, including wholesale and catering, will continue to operate out of Cornucopia’s Vocational Training Center.

HELP Foundation will continue to support consumers by providing residential services, summer programming for children, daytime programs for adults and seniors and a variety of vocational training programs.

We are so excited about all the opportunities this partnership will bring in 2018!  Please stay tuned in for updates as they emerge on HELP Foundation’s Facebook page or Instagram account @helpfoundationcleveland.
