Sausage Is King at the Polka Hall of Fame Sausage Festival, Wednesday, September 13, in Kirtland

Euclid sausage-maker Bill Azman is among the vendors serving up their finest wares at the 14th Annual Polka Hall of Fame Sausage Festival, Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at SNPJ Farm, in Kirtland, Ohio.

Who takes the crown for Sausage King or Queen? You decide when you vote at the 14th annual Slovenian Sausage Festival, hosted by the National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame, Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Your favorite polka bands and sausage-makers converge at SNPJ Farm for eight hours of non-stop music and munching, from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m.

It’s polka music’s top sausage party! Dance to thirteen Cleveland-Style orchestras, including Hall of Famer Fred Ziwich, the Button Box Divas, Anthony Culkar, Frank Stanger, Aaron Dussing, the Western Pennsylvania SNPJ Button Box Club, the Summit Button Boxers, Kathy Hlad, Ron Likovic, Patty C and the Guys, and the Button Box Band of the Year, the Fairport Jammers. More bands to be announced.

Bring your accordion and jam along. Sample smoked Slovenian sausages from several makers and then make your tastiest choice. More sausages, treats and refreshments await you between musical numbers. The 2017 Klobasa Crown is presented at 7:00 p.m.

SNPJ Farm is at 10946 Heath Road in Kirtland, Ohio, off Chardon Road (Route 6), three miles east of Route 306 and six miles west of Route 44.
