Hip Hop Performance at Shore Cultural Centre

Get ready to feel the beat at Shore Cultural Centre’s Hip-Hop performance, “Shore Cypher Sessions”, during “This is Euclid” Art Walk on Friday, September 22. Shore’s Hip Hop performance is just one of the many arts activities taking place during this event on Lakeshore Boulevard and Triangle Park.

Samuel McIntosh (10K) will lead the performance in front of Shore, with MC Timar, which will be a combination of informative info about the Hip-Hop genre and entertainment. 10K is a member of the Cleveland based Hip-Hop collaborative group AYYEDEESMM (80’s Meets Modern). The group is built on the foundations and major styles of the Hip-Hop culture. They have been dancing together for over eight years, experimenting with different styles of Hip-Hop and modern dance while focusing mainly on “Popping”. DJ San will demonstrate mixing and scratching and then spin a mix of funk, dance, and soul songs to allow dancers to showcase their talents during a cypher. Participants that attended the August popping workshop at Shore will be putting what they learned to work.

The Hip Hop performance will take place beginning at 6 pm in front of Shore Cultural Centre, located near the east side of the parking lot, on September 22nd.  For more information about Shore Cultural Centre visit www.shoreculturalcentre.com or call 216-289-8578, and for info on “This is Euclid” Art Walk visit www.facebook.com/events/939641872842383 .
