The Path to Wellness Workshop Series

A three-part, interactive workshop, created to help participants understand what it's like to be well, understand attitudes towards wellness, and gain knowledge and confidence to begin creating wellness in their lives. This is a great opportunity to help build a better world through volunteer service. Representatives from local non-profit organizations will be here to meet, greet, and provide information to those interested in offering their time. Volunteering is a great way to meet new and interesting people, strengthen resumes, and obtain knowledge and skills that aid in career and personal development.

Kriya Yoga Meditation

THURSDAYS: JUNE 8, 15, 22, 29

7:00 PM / Lake Room

Meditation can benefit your mind, heart, and body. Join us for a four-part series to learn and practice the scientific technique of Kriya Yoga Meditation with audio recordings of Guruji Swami Shree Yogi Satyam, facilitated by former Euclid Councilman Scott Lynch. Refugees: 101

TUESDAY, JUNE 13

6:30 PM / Shore Room

Patrick Kearns, the Executive Director of The Refugee Response, joins us to provide a one-hour presentation on the root causes of the global refugee crisis, the process of being recognized as a refugee and being resettled to the United States or another host country. The Refugee Response works with other Cleveland agencies to assist families in moving from harm to home in Cleveland.

Build a Better Wednesday

WEDNESDAYS: JUNE 14, 21, 28  

2:30 PM / Shore Room

Come to the library and make your Wednesday a little brighter! Each week we’ll have a different, fun activity for children to get their minds moving and STEAM skills booming. No registration required but space is limited. Children under eight years old must be accompanied by an adult.
