Families Make the Difference at OLL School

Trunk or Treat is one of the popular events the PTO organizes at OLL School

Our Lady of the Lake School is successful not only because it has great students and teachers – but because it has great families, too. Moms and dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles – this is the extended community that comes together to offer students extra support and to provide resources and programs. Each school year the PTO at Our Lady of the Lake plans an array of fundraisers and events, from the Walkathon to family movie night, uniform exchanges to dances, dad walks and muffins with mom and COSI day and so much more. The parents at Our Lady of the Lake go above and beyond because they want every student to feel their education is important and their community supports them. And they want every family to feel welcome, to make the school community a fun and engaging place. Judging by the success of their events, with hundreds of students turning up for Halloween fun, dozens of moms getting together for art night, and more than 30 parents turning up for even the most routine of meetings, this parent teacher group has got a good thing going. And the whole school community appreciates all the great work that they do.
