Students Rebuild is a nonprofit organization to help Syrian children who have become displaced by war. The junior high students with Mrs. Hribar took the Students Rebuild Healing Classrooms Challenge! To participate,they  made and mailed in pinwheels. The Bezos Family Foundation matched each pinwheel they received with a $2 donation to the International Rescue Committee’s Healing Classrooms program. This program trains teachers in special techniques to engage conflict-affected children with social-emotional learning opportunities and to create secure, nurturing learning environments. The junior high raised over $500 for Healing Classrooms!
