SRW Honors Margaret Lyons, Superintendent of Diocese of Cleveland Catholic Schools at its Annual Taste of Nations Gala

SRW students contribute to the success of the annual Taste of Nations Gala.

If you love homemade ethnic food, why don’t you join us at our annual Taste of Nations Gala, which is being held on Saturday, April 23, 2016?  The evening will begin with a Polka Mass (The Joey Tomsick Orchestra is providing the music), followed by dinner at 5:45 p.m. (Doors open at 5:00 p.m.)  This is a wonderful opportunity for guests to experience many different international cuisines representing those of Eastern Europe, Germany, the Philippines, Latin America, Mexico, Ireland, and Italy. Our parishioners have been preparing and making items to be served in these food rooms. One can also relax at the Cigar Lounge and the Vienna Café.

The faculty and students have taken on the task of decorating doors and the hallway. Additionally, the school students have been asked to be of service the night of the event, to make donations to their classroom baskets, which will be raffled off that evening, and to create treasures for the student art auction.

The fundraiser also includes the chance to win $2,250 in the Pot of Cash Raffle, a wine pull, raffles galore, and many high end prizes.  The Taste of Nation’s Award will be presented to Margaret Lyons, retiring Superintendent of Diocese of Cleveland Catholic Schools.

Tickets for the event are $55 each or 2 for $100 and can be purchased at the Parish Office (216.731.1515) or on-line at www.srweuclid.cc (click on the donation tab).

Ss. Robert and William Parish is located at 367 East 260th St., Euclid.  The Gala will be held in the school gym which is located at 351 East 260th St., Euclid.
