The Truth About Bullying

On October 18, 2015, Officer Ed Bonchak came to Ss. Robert and William to speak to the youth about bullying.

In our society today, bullying is an ever growing issue which we must ask ourselves how we can make a difference. Office Bonchak covered everything from bullying in the schools and work place to talking about what has been happening on social media websites.

The night created an awareness of what is going on in the world. According to Bonchak, "It is good for us to be ever aware of what may be happening around us and not being afraid to take a stand against bullying. No matter how old you are, bullying can occur. We can find ourselves getting caught up in it or even be the ones doing it."

Officer Bonchak gave a wonderful presentation that made us more cognizant of what is happening around us so we can step up to change the world, one encounter at a time.
