Arbor Day Ceremony at Shore Cultural Centre

On April 24th the City of Euclid and the Shade Tree Commission held an Arbor Day tree planting ceremony. This year a Sugar Maple was planted in front of Shore Cultural Centre in honor of Dolly Luskin. For over 30 years Dolly has volunteered her time with Shore Cultural Centre, where she had served on the Board of Trustees for over twenty years In addition to Shore, she also has been active with the Irish American Club - East Side and was a member of the Euclid Women’s Caucus. The event was well attended, and included a welcome by Robert Evans, Chairman Shade Tree Commission, along with speakers Mayor Bill Cervenick and City Council President Kirsten Holzheimer Gail.
