Freshmen Visit Local Colleges During OGT Week
Euclid High School freshmen made the most out of OGT (Ohio Graduation Test) Week. While their sophomore contemporaries were busy testing, EHS freshmen were touring local colleges. Students had the opportunity to visit Tri-C East, Ursuline College, Notre Dame College, Lakeland Community College, Tri-C Metro, Hiram College, Kent State University (Twinsburg), and Lake Erie College. These field trips helped students understand the importance of setting goals and working hard to achieve them.
College representatives explained to students the requirements for admittance and what colleges look for in potential students. While we know college is not the next step for all of our students, it is important for them to see the opportunities available to them.
