PTO Helps Make School Great

Hats off to the amazing PTO team at Our Lady of the Lake School. They're off to a strong start this year, with the Backpack Blessing, Uniform Swap and Meet the Teacher Night already under their belts, and the Father's Walk coming up on September 18. Not only do they welcome every new family with a personal welcome packet, they also have a roster of events they organize every month, throughout the school year.  From movie nights to the Walk-a-Thon, there's always something fun happening. New and returning families alike are encouraged to get involved -- join a committee, volunteer for an event, or bring your special talent. There are also lots of ways other community members can join in, too. Many hands truly make light work, and when it comes to making the school year a success for our kids, we're all in this together.
 
Over and over again, research demonstrates that the secret to a successful school is a strong and engaged school community. With families like this backing them, Our Lady of the Lake kids are already winners!
