Finding This Nimo in Euclid

The inspiration for the Empty Hands Pilgrimage

Nimo (Nimesh Patel) is making a stop in Euclid with his Empty Hands Music Pilgrimage on Friday, July 11 at 6:30 pm on the front lawn of the rectory at Our Lady of the Lake at the corner of E. 200Street and Lake Shore Blvd.  Bring your family and friends, a lawn chair or blanket and experience our small contribution to Nimo’s 7 month pilgrimage across the United States and UK.  This free concert will not be a staged performance, but rather an opportunity to nurture seeds of goodness and service in our community through Nimo and his music. Snacks and beverages will be available.  Parking is in the church parking lot at E. 201Street and in the event of rain, the gathering will be in the church hall.

I discovered Nimo through a website that was sponsoring a 21 Day Gratitude Challenge.  He posted a video with children and adults all over the world singing his song “Grateful”.  This former secular rapper had a huge awakening while serving the children in the surrounding slums of Gandhi Ashram in India and decided to devote his life to producing a style of music that emphasized the values of kindness, gratitude, service, love, and joy.  My email to him to express gratitude for his creative and inspiring talent led to my invitation for him to join us in Euclid on his way across the country. Friends at Our Lady of the Lake Church are helping to sponsor this special visit.  You can discover Nimo and his music by going to karmatube.org or emptyhandsmusic.com.  If you have questions contact me at 216-798-7089 or e200thstreetstroll@gmail.com.
