World Friendship Day with Euclid Girl Scouts
On March 1st, the Euclid Girl Scout Troops of Service Unit 760 celebrated World Friendship Day at Sts. Robert and William School Gymnasium. During this annual event, each troop chose a country to research, they then sold food, crafts and hosted games from that country. The event began with a flag ceremony representing each country.
This event was open to the public and had 240 people in attendance this year. All proceeds were donated to the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace in Savannah, GA.
If you are interested in joining a local Girl Scout Troop, please contact Euclid Service Unit Leader Joyce Tucceri at jtucceri@aol.com or online at Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio gsneo.org.
