Euclid Chamber of Commerce announces Annual Award Winners

The Euclid Chamber of Commerce Annual Award winners for 2011 were recognized on Thursday, March 22nd at the Chamber’s Awards Dinner, held at the Euclid Lakefront Community Center. Sponsors for this year’s awards event were:

Award recipients were as follows:

Gabriel Saluan, Atlas Cinemas: 2011 Business Person of the Year. The “Business Person of the Year" recognizes and honors a Euclid business person who has made a contribution to the economic growth and welfare of the Euclid business community in the past year. 

Lincoln Electric: 2011 Large Business of the Year. The “Large Business of the Year” award recognizes a Euclid company with over 50 employees that provides high quality products or services.

Mesocoat: 2011 Small Business of the Year. The “Small Business of the Year” award recognizes a Euclid company with under 50 employees that provides high quality products or services.

The Rose-Mary Center: 2011 Organization of the Year. The “Organization of the Year” award recognizes and honors a Euclid organization that works to enhance the quality of life in Euclid for its residents, businesses and fellow organizations.

The Euclid Chamber of Commerce honored the 2011 recipients of the “Bluestone Award.” The Bluestone Award was created by the Euclid Chamber of Commerce to honor businesses and individuals that have made a significant contribution to the City of Euclid. Just as Euclid Creek’s local bluestone quarries supplied the basic building materials to shape the future of Euclid and many cities throughout the Great Lake Region.

The 2011 recipients of the Bluestone Award were as follows: BraeView Care & Rehabilitation Center, Paragon Wine Bar, Sims Buick GMC.

The theme of this year’s awards event was “Taste of Euclid” and attendees enjoyed sampling wine from Paragon Wine Bar and a variety of foods and beverages provided by:
