Battle of the Teal – 4EDU is a fun-filled fundraising event with a dinner element that showcases young talents, brings awareness to higher education possibilities, connects youth with the community, builds youth self-esteem, and instills leadership skills in our youth, our future. Youth can express themselves and share their positive message on the stage choosing one from many artistic forms – dance, comedy, photography, singing, drawing…any art form will do! Courtney Owens, our two-time champion (2016 & 2017) delivered strong poetry performances that won hearts of the judges and crowd. Combined, she took home $5,500 in scholarship and cash prize.

Our keynote, world renowned motivational speaker, Dr. George C. Fraser will join other reputable guest speakers and local feature artists to set the example and deliver encouraging messages to all event attendees and participants. Community organizations will also be involved to provide valuable information about their services and to support and keep youth on their education path.
