Active Yoga ~'~ Loving Hands Yoga
6:15 PM - 7:15 PM
Active Yoga – This is a moderate-intensity class, perfect for those with previous yoga experience. In this class we gradually increase our heart rate, flow aerobically through various poses, and work on developing strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. We focus on the yoga principles of alignment, connecting our breath with our movement, and practicing present-moment awareness. The level of challenge is designed around the students’ desires and abilities.

Class Fees
$15 per class / New clients: Your first class is free!
Students pay at the beginning of the session for all but 3 classes in the session, and pay as they go for the remaining classes in the session. This allows for up to 3 missed classes in the session. I am not able to offer make-up classes.

Open House for the City of Euclid-Frontal Lake Erie Watershed Plan
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Public input is requested to help develop a watershed plan for the “City of Euclid-Frontal Lake Erie” watershed. The plan looks to achieve water resource goals for the small streams that drain directly to Lake Erie between Euclid Creek and the Chagrin River. The area covers 21 square miles in eastern Cuyahoga and western Lake Counties, including portions of Cleveland, Eastlake, Euclid, Lakeline, Richmond Heights, Timberlake, Wickliffe, Willoughby, Willoughby Hills, and Willowick.

Ohio Environmental Protection Agency characterizes this watershed as 97 percent developed. Challenges to stream health include narrowed channels, infilled floodplains and widespread paving, all of which lead to flash flooding and habitat loss.

We are seeking input on the following:
-Eroding sections of streams and the Lake Erie coast
-Areas for improved management of stormwater and flooding
-Areas to protect for public greenspace and wildlife habitat

Anyone can provide feedback by attending a public open house or by taking an online survey at crwp.org and bluestoneheights.org. Two surveys are available: a general watershed survey and a City of Euclid-specific survey. More details about the open house are provided below:

Open House for the City of Euclid-Frontal Lake Erie Watershed Plan
Wednesday, November 28th
6:30 to 8:30 PM

Lake Metroparks Lakefront Lodge
30525 Lakeshore Boulevard
Willowick, OH 44095

Plan development staff will host the open house. A short presentation at 7:00 PM will cover plan goals, methods and current data.

This plan is being developed by Chagrin River Watershed Partners, Inc., Bluestone Heights, and West Creek Conservancy with funding from an Ohio Department of Natural Resources Coastal Management Assistance Grant and the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District.

The City of Euclid-Frontal Lake Erie plan will meet standards of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency’s non-point source pollution control program. Major benefits of creating these plans include 1) building consensus around watershed issues and priorities, 2) improved planning for watershed restoration and protection, and 3) identifying the most needed projects with the greatest long-term benefits. The plan's erosion control and water quality improvement projects will be eligible for some sources of federal funding such as grants awarded under the Clean Water Act and the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. More info about the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency’s Nonpoint Source Pollution Control Program is available here: https://epa.ohio.gov/dsw/nps/index. This website includes a list of all watersheds that currently have plans.
